Ep.7. The Grove

Synopsis

Session Nineteen

Played: 16th October 2017.
Party: Kilannia, Sindar, Nero, and Kovec.
Rewards: One incremental Advance.
325gp each, Bow of the Sudden Forest +2, Concordance of Auspicious Conjunctions (a magical +2 book).

The heroes are lead to the Stone Thief, a living dungeon, by Nobia. They are in search of a magical circle that will lead them to the Queen's Court. They enter the Grove, via the "Bole Climb" where they fight some elvish spirits. They enter the Blind Spire, an observatory, where they find the magic teleport circle, but the need four amulets to activate it. They also fight a celestial guardian that protected the circle.

Session Twenty

Played: 23rd October 2017.
Party: Kilannia, Sindar, Nero, and Kovec.
Rewards: One incremental Advance, one full healup.
325gp each.

Heroes enter the large caverns that consist of most of the Grove. As they travel through the cavern they are attacked by and defeat a group of Abomoinations. They arrive at the Druid Circle, a healing sanctuary, where Kilannia attacks a Owl, thus alienating her from its healing benefits. In the grove they dig a grace for a fallen Elf hero and uncover one of the missing four amulets.

They travel further to the Herbarium, where Kalannia picks some auralantha flowers. They enter the green house, where they find a Koru Orchid and the second missing amulet, after they fight some carnivorous plants.

Session Twenty-One

Played: 30th October 2017.
Party: Kilannia, Sindar, Nero, and Kovec.
Rewards: Level Up.
325gp each. Periapt of Wound Closure.

Kilannia has a vision (caused by the auralantha) where she is visited by the Elf Queen and told that to slay Nodra, she two must be slain. She also tells here to "Follow the Path of the Sun".

The part continues through the Grove, befriendling Pheig the Hag and killing some Giants for her.She gives them their fourth amulet, and they slay some dark elves in theCaves below the tree, for the fifth and final amulet. They can now go into the Queen's Court.
